That's right, Dan & Phil decided to award the privilege of being a guest on the podcast to arguably South Africa's hottest rapper in 2014, none other than Cassper Nyovest.
Fresh from a dream year in which the release of his debut album Tsholofelo exceeded all expectations and has now all but achieved platinum status, Cassper brought the magic to Zimbabwe for his first live show in the country. Never ones to miss an opportunity to beg for money from a millionaire, the 2 Broke Twimbos forcibly hijacked the self-styled "New Age Doc Shebeleza" and from there, the interview below.
Follow along as Dan & Phil first review the show that was held at Club 1 + 1 (Happy), not a joke, then listen as Cassper Nyovest (real name Refiloe Maele Phoolo) shares his journey starting with nothing but "a rand and a dream".
