The Cindy Munyavi Episode
It's awards season! This means several things, firstly an opportunity to receive financial assistance in exchange for votes and flattery. Secondly, it means we got award winner and multiple nominee Cindy Munyavi aka Cindy Raw on the podcast! It also means more events we cannot afford to attend, but I think we're all used to that by now.
Cindy is fresh off her groundbreaking win of the AFRIMMA award for best Southern African female artist (ahead of big names like Lira and Zahara) and she's not stopping. We managed to sit down with her and learn a lot about the pop/dancehall/rap/R&B/Urban Grooves/*invent a genre if you like* singer who's been dominating radio airwaves for over a decade now.
Dan & Phil of course waste no time in being rude, inappropriate and generally unpleasant (all accidentally, promise) yet can't help but fawn over Cindy's many achievements while begging shamelessly for spare change. Enjoy the episode below!

Welcome comrades and opps, to a brand new episode of the only podcast nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Dan & Phil are back to talk about important stuff, like Travis Scott having a concert in Johannesburg, The Kadoma Music Festival and Chris Martin performing in Zimbabwe, Winky D’s AI video with Busy Signal for some reason. The Tech Ombudsmen analyze the fragile AI ecosystem, IYKYK, before taking a look at music business around the world, featuring lawsuit loser Drake and other important stuff. Enjoy!
