The Da L.E.S Episode

Comrades the Award Winning Train that is the 2 Broke Twimbos does not stop (mainly because we could not afford new brakes, but that is neither here nor there). This week Phil sits down with none other than The North God himself Da L.E.S for what could be one of our best interviews to date.

The Maps Maponyane Episode

Like that annoying guy at the club that is always trying to have an ill-timed conversation we won’t stop shouting directly into your ear!  This week Phil continues to beg for sponsorship in Johannesburg, and while he was camping at a building in Sandton he happened to meet up with Maps Maponyane and wouldn’t stop following him until he granted us an interview

The Award Win Fallout Episode

Attention fellow prize-winners, please help me in addressing the riff raff of society who have never won a ZIMA best online media award. Henceforth we are not just broke, we are broke prize-winners, please address us accordingly. It's time for a new episode, Phil is currently begging on the streets of South Africa, whereas Dan is practitioning his own brand of pauperdom in Zimbabwe, however they managed to connect via Skype to catch up on the major events of the past few weeks in both countries.

Tune in to hear about our newfound status, the inside scoop on the Wizkid concert in Zimbabwe (the one that didn't happen), the T.I. & Nicki Minaj concerts in South Africa, the AKA and Back to The City debacle, the recent success of Ammara Brown & Tytan's hit song Mukoko and more! Check out the side-splitting chat below:

The Jah Prayzah Episode

Go and tell on us to mama, because this time, we've gone on and done it. Arguably Zimbabwe's biggest musician right now, none other than Jah Prayzah has officially joined the illustrious roster of 2BT guests. Thanks to cunning promises of payment, we managed to trick the Zimbabwean superstar to getting into the studio then locking the door and forcing him to speak to Danny for over an hour before we let him out. Also in studio was Jah Prayzah's manager, Keen, who calmed down after threatening to have us sued. Listen in as Danny's Shona speaking skills are tested to the limit and Jah Prayzah delves deep into stories he admits he's never spoken on before, like his first live performance that had fewer people than a Donald Trump rally in Mexico, his embarrassing experiences leaving gigs in a kombi, his experiences overseas, controversies surrounding the Eriza music video and much much more. Also, Jah Prayzah officially and exclusively announces the name of his upcoming album for 2016 right here on this groundbreaking AWARD WINNING podcast. We end off the episode with Jah Prayzah's current single, Hello.Enjoy:
