The Da L.E.S Episode
Comrades the Award Winning Train that is the 2 Broke Twimbos does not stop (mainly because we could not afford new brakes, but that is neither here nor there). This week Phil sits down with none other than The North God himself Da L.E.S for what could be one of our best interviews to date.
During the interview Da L.E.S shares stories of his upbringing in the USA before moving to South Africa, where he would eventually meet up with Bongz at school and sow the seeds that would grew to become the super group Jozi. LES shares stories of the break up before going solo and evolving into the North God we all know today.
Phil also makes a shameless attempt to be art of Da L.E.S stripper anthem before Les kicks him out.
NB: During the interview Da L.E.S mentions his desire to give us his unreleased video for Bussit featuring Los Rakas. Sadly after speaking to Les’ team and Lance Stehr we have still not been able to locate a copy as yet.

Welcome comrades and opps, to a brand new episode of the only podcast nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Dan & Phil are back to talk about important stuff, like Travis Scott having a concert in Johannesburg, The Kadoma Music Festival and Chris Martin performing in Zimbabwe, Winky D’s AI video with Busy Signal for some reason. The Tech Ombudsmen analyze the fragile AI ecosystem, IYKYK, before taking a look at music business around the world, featuring lawsuit loser Drake and other important stuff. Enjoy!
