In this episode of Mental Wellness Mondays by 2 Broke Twimbos, we have the story of Jonathan & Shereen Thompson who created an international grief support network after the tragic loss of their daughter Victoria. The pair describe their unique grief journeys as well as include practical tips on what to say and what to do when someone is in mourning.
The past year and a half or so have been especially difficult, with many people needing help to deal with their grief. This week, along with Dr. Nyarai, we have Counsellor, Life, and Grief Coach Margaret Chirunda, affectionately known as “Auntie Margaret” to help with some tips on how to deal with grief, and a reminder that we all need someone to just listen to us.
Remember you can find mental health resources as well as a submission form (if you would like to send in a question) on our website’s Help page here.
You can find out more about our Mental Health Segment partner Bon Vie here, including the different packages on offer. We thank Bon Vie for their support.
Another episode of your cousin’s friend’s favourite podcast, a brand new episode for you to go nuts about! While you hang with us, the pair have something in the bag for you. Dan & Phil chat with Dylan King, formerly known as Blayze about why he went quiet when things seemed to be picking up for the rapper/producer, as well as his triumphant return with Diary of Dylan King. The 2 Broke Twimbos also reminisce on the video store, discuss some things that would put them in the sights of the Barbs, and discuss when celebrity interviews get awkward.
Welcome to another edition of Mental Wellness Mondays, this week we have a candid chat with journalist & blogger Tinevimbo, aka Scotch Royalty, also the membership coordinator of our mental wellness partner Wired2Love & Thrive. Scotch has a heart-wrenching personal account to share that shows the harsh reality of our society’s attitude towards mental wellness, therapy, and suicidal thoughts.
We've got good news and bad news. The good news - BRAND NEW EPISODE OF YOUR FAVOURITE PODCAST! The bad news - it's the last official episode of the year... (note we said "official") Still still, Dan & Phil catch up and compare notes after watching the Diddy documentary, analyze Spotify Wrapped, explore the implications of the Netflix deal for Warner Bros, with the Paramount counter-bid and more! Enjoy!
