The BET Experience Africa Episode
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!! Not because of the holidays , no no no not at all strugglers. It is because your aunt’s second favourite podcast is currently in the middle of a media blitz with a flurry of new content.
In this episode Dan & Phil review the BET Experience which was held in Johannesburg last weekend. The massive event featured a host of performers, talks, comedy shows and a celebrity basketball game that were held during the day and then a massive concert that kicked off as the sun went down. The concert featured performances from Diamond Platnumz, Flavour, AKA, Raphael Saadiq, Mary J Blige and Maxwell.
For those of you with sufficient bundles you can also view the video review below and check out all the photos from the event here
Listen to hear what hot happenings happened at the event, we also have interviews with Dan’s Woman Crush Everyday Boity, Khanyi Mbau, Zororo Makamba, Beverly Bond, Emtee, Diamond Platnumz, AKA and few words from the Queen of R&B Soul Mary J Blige!
Thank you to Napoleon "Napster" Nyanhi for helping out and conducting the interviews and thank you to MultiChoice Africa for facilitating the trip.
Enjoy
It's happening! This is not a drill! You can finally return to your routines, Dan & Phil are BACK with that fresh new-new!! Dan is a father now, and he has profound wisdom to share, like "new parents are tired". The boys even get to talk about sport, like Formula 1 coming back to Africa (surprise it's Rwanda!) and what punishment should Manchester City get for cheating for over a decade? Oh and Phil has been outisde. A lot to discuss, enjoy!
