Zim Top 10 on Zambezi Magic: January 28, 2016

It's a new week, so you know what that means! No, we're not talking about finding new ways to dodge creditors. it's the top 10 Zimbabwean music videos on Zambezi Magic this week! Pole position is taken by TeeMak with his video for Heaven & Hell.

Check out the full top 10 countdown below as well as a playlist of the videos in question:

Jnr Brown - We Run It

Jnr Brown songs are like influenza mutations: they don't come around very often, but when they do there is much death. The last Jnr Brown single we saw was Mariia over a year ago. However it seems that potential beef has hurled him back in the studio. And we're not complaining. Beast, Yagidojo and Begotten Sun were involved in production, Sylent Nqo with instrumental contributions and GZE handling the A&R. The song is also available for free download.

Free Download : Thaiwanda Thai - BAM3

Zimbabwean born, South African based artist Thaiwanda Thai has just released his latest offering BAM3 (Bangers and Mashups 3) . The 12 track project is a dance friendly project that sees Thai putting his spin on popular songs like DJ Snake’s Lean On Me, Adele’s Hello, Chidena’s Classic Man and AKA’s Composure amongst others.

VIDEO: Kazz aka Mr Boomslang Ft Sonni Balli - She's Worth It

Zimbabwean artist Kazz, formerly of the duo Bkay & Kazz, but now known as Mr Boomslang (who clearly thinks of himself as some sort of sex symbol), has officially released the visuals for his hit track “She’s Worth It” featuring Ghanaian Sonni Balli. Kazz clearly watched too many violent movies growing up as this new “music movie” features dark terrible themes like torture, betrayal, kidnapping, murder and women with bright red hair. It was produced and filmed by Boomslang Media in tandem with Chalky Videography and additional aerial contributions from Totally Inspired Media.

Queen Vee Ft Soul Jah Luv - Mari Mari

Attention poverty-stricken comrades! In this month of terror and insolvency, the gorgeous Queen Vee has decided to remind us all of the one commodity we are all lacking by releasing her new single, an ode to currency called Mari Mari. The catchy track features Chibabababa himself, Soul Jah Luv as Queen Vee makes an effort to wrest the attention of the Zimbabwean audience away from old cartoons on ZBC.
