Shingai - Coming Home (Official Music Video)
Shingai Shoniwa, or as she’s professionally known, Shingai, the Zimbabwean front woman from the English indie rock band The Noisettes has revealed the video for her new solo pop single Coming Home, taken from her forthcoming debut solo EP Ancient Futures. The video was shot in Zimbabwe, on location in the mountains of Domboshawa, directed by British-Nigerian film-maker Joseph A. Adesunloye. The song samples the classic Shumba by Zimbabwean legend Thomas Mapfumo (who happens to be Shingai’s uncle), check out the video here:
