MTV's Launches Lip Sync Battle Africa

​Earlier today the good folks at MTV ( I say this because there was free food) invited a select group of journalists and me (apparently they think I'm important) to the launch of their new show Lip Sync Battle Africa at MultiChoice City in Randburg.

The show is a spin off of the popular American show of the same name sans the Africa where celebrities are invited to compete against each other in Lip Sync battles. It's like what we did at high school variety shows just with famous people really.

Episode 1 of the show featured Cassper Nyovest and his former beau Boity Thulo. After milling about for over an hour we were finally invited into a screening room where we shown the episode. Cassper delivered some hilarious performances including one that saw him applying alot more make up than he is used to, to pay homage to a fallen diva. But ultimately Boity utilised all her assets to win the day.
