Varaidzo - Chii Chaunoda (Video)
Comrades, as the 2 Broke Twimbos, there are 2 never-ending quests we are on. The first is the search to discover a way to eat at least one meal a day. The second, far easier quest is to find Zimbabwean music videos we can watch without shame. Songstress and fashionista Varaidzo has just put out her latest effort for her current Russo produced single Chii Chaunoda? If your Shona is rusty, that is translated to "What do you want?", a phrase Dan & Phil hear often while thrusting their begging bowls in the faces of Harare's well-to-do.
Varaidzo posted on her Facebook page that this single was written by songwriter Elliot Nyakauru while the video was directed by Simba Gee. Check it out below.
Varaidzo has also made the song available for free download on her Soundcloud:
It's happening! This is not a drill! You can finally return to your routines, Dan & Phil are BACK with that fresh new-new!! Dan is a father now, and he has profound wisdom to share, like "new parents are tired". The boys even get to talk about sport, like Formula 1 coming back to Africa (surprise it's Rwanda!) and what punishment should Manchester City get for cheating for over a decade? Oh and Phil has been outisde. A lot to discuss, enjoy!
