Jay Rox - Steady
Jay Rox has always been an artist who is willing to push boundaries and experiment with his sound. Not content with being boxed in as just a rapper, the Zambian has often branched out into Afro beats and dancehall sounds. Now on Steady he goes absolutely LEFT with this joint.
The song starts off like a regular Dida Steez beat, then all hell breaks lose and it becomes a Dance, Glitch Hop, Trap N Bass hybrid. This song will brek your speaker. It destroyed our $2 SOONY (no typo) speakers on the first listen. MAIWE
It's happening! This is not a drill! You can finally return to your routines, Dan & Phil are BACK with that fresh new-new!! Dan is a father now, and he has profound wisdom to share, like "new parents are tired". The boys even get to talk about sport, like Formula 1 coming back to Africa (surprise it's Rwanda!) and what punishment should Manchester City get for cheating for over a decade? Oh and Phil has been outisde. A lot to discuss, enjoy!
