Brian Soko’s Grammy Acceptance Speech
A few weeks ago Brian Soko made history when he became the first Zimbabwean artist to win a Grammy but also the youngest African producer to win the prize. Brian and the other members of his production team, The Order won the award got the work they did on Beyoncé and Jay Z’s Drunk In Love.
In his speech Brian thanked his team and the members of the Order before adding “I just hope the people of Zimbabwe are proud of me for this achievement and that this sends a message to young African creative professionals around the world, that anything is possible if you work hard doing what you love.”
It is truly proud moment for all Zimbabweans and we look forward to seeing more from Brian. The Order also have production credits on Tinashe’s Aquarius, Nicki Minaj’s Pink Print and Wiz halifa’s Blacc Hollywood
