The BET Experience Is Coming To Johannesburg This December

BET is bringing some of Africa’s and America’s finest artists together for a memorable experience in Johannesburg this December. The BET Experience is set to be held at the Ticket Pro dome in Joburg ion the 12th of December and will feature a full day of activity ranging from a fashion show, standup comedy, a celebrity basketball game, a sneaker show and “Genus Talks” seminars.

The experience will culminate with an evening of performances from crooners Maxwell & Raphael Saadiq, Tamar Braxton representing the USA. Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz and Nigeria’s Flavour will also be performing on the day. We not sure how Afro-pop acts like Diamond & Flavour fit in with this very R&B heavy lineup but we still look forward to seeing what they offer.

Due some miracle or lax security Phil somehow managed to hitchhike his way all the way to Durban to attend the MTV Africa Music Music Awards where he spoke to some of Africa's biggest names and tried to convince them to fund his career. Check it out.
